I know that you aren’t just a dream anymore, but I cannot seem to wake up from whatever state I am in right now, and I feel like am stuck in a loop of good memories — AND IT’S TOTALLY OKAY. Batanes gave me nothing but pure bliss. I was uninterrupted. Life felt very easy. I never looked forward to anything at the end of the day, except for sumptuous dinner. And I lived each moment like life was perfect. I guess this is the effect of being exposed into something very beautiful, that it becomes so overwhelming and you can’t even put it into writing because no words can give justice to what it is.
It was another sweltering day in Batanes and I know I may sound weird, but that was just the way we were hoping it to be! Weather is a big factor that you need to consider when planning a trip to the islands of Batanes, especially when some are only reachable by boat. We originally planned our Day 2 for South Batan tour, but we were advised to take the Sabtang instead so we can take advantage of the good weather.
You were a dream. Then a reality. Now a memory. It’s already been 3 long months, but I’m still going through all the photos I took when in Batanes. It’s difficult to put into words how I feel about this beautiful island in the Philippines that is also the northernmost and smallest province in the country. I can finally relate to all the stories people are telling after visiting the “Home of the Winds.”
It is no surprise that Filipinos love to eat, and that is the one of the reasons why many businessmen venture into food and beverage industry. Eating is our way of living. We eat because we are happy. We eat because we are sad. We eat for so many reasons and the thing is, we never run out of reasons as much as restauranteurs never run out of ideas to make people look forward to something new. But the real question is, how to be successful in business? And just so we’re clear, this blog post is not created to give tips on how to make your business grow, but surely you’ll learn a thing or two. LOL.
