Every city I visit is a dream come true, and the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam is definitely one for the books. The thousands of motorbikes, the mouthfeel of Cà phê sữa đá, the mixture of the old and the new, the amazing architectures, and the complex flavours of pho. I mean, what’s really not to love about this city? JUST TAKE ME BACK!
Coffee lovers like me don’t need to consider anything before getting a good cup of what seems to be running in our system, it’s some sort of necessity which has great effect in our daily lives. It’s true when people say they cannot function until they get to take the first sip and smell the aroma of the coffee beans, at least for me because I’m exactly like that. You don’t feel whole and something is definitely missing if a day goes by without COFFEE. I bet you know what I’m talking about!
The Ruins. It’s the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I hear of Bacolod City, which is often referred as the City of Smiles. I have come to ask why is it that I rarely see people smiling? The locals really need to live up with its slogan. LOL. Nevertheless, this city without a doubt left a big smile on my face as I tick off this place on my travel bucket list.
I clearly remember that I thought of taking Fine Arts when I reach college back when I was still in elementary school. It was a childhood dream. I was the usual kid back then who loved, and still loves, watching cartoons and drawing random stuff. But as time flies, I realized that the course wasn’t really meant for me. I was destined to be someone else. Nonetheless, art has always been a part of my life. From editing photos to curating my Instagram feed. In fact, it’s an integral part of life for some people.
I had been to a lot of different cafes and am still looking for new ones because I kinda fancy being out on weekends enjoying my free time, catching up with friends, writing up for my blog or sometimes doing some work while I am enjoying a cup of coffee. Caffeine plays a great role in our daily lives. Well, for me. And you know what I mean if you are procaffeinating like me. LOL.
