I had chills both from the high winds and the fact that we will be seeing some of the places in the Northern Ireland where Game of Thrones shot their scenes. Wake me up! I’ve always wanted to go to Dubrovnik, Croatia because of King’s Landing but I don’t mind seeing first these tiny bits of details that make up some of the notable scenes in GoT. So stoked! It’s a dream come true just to be able to breathe the same air and step on the same soil as the casts did. I’m exaggerated like that! Game of Thrones fans will know how it feels. 😀
Batanes – South Batan
Batanes gave me nothing but pure bliss. I was uninterrupted. Life felt very easy. I never looked forward to anything at the end of the day, except for sumptuous dinner. And I lived each moment like life was perfect. I guess this is the effect of being exposed into something very beautiful, that it becomes so overwhelming and you can’t even put it into writing because no words can give justice to what it is.
Mt. Hapunang Banoi
It’s been more than a year since my last day hike and I feel so nervous and excited at the same time that I’m finally doing it again. The previous one was Mt. Balagbag and I will never forget that experience. There was a clear trail to the summit so a guide isn’t really necessary. We started out before lunch and it was excruciatingly hot and it served as a lesson to all of us. Crazy!
Five Fingers & Laki Beach
Looking back at the moments that make up my 2017 I must say that it was, indeed, another eventful year for me. Not just for me, but for my family and everyone else and that’s for sure. Good times and bad times, no matter what happened we all deserve to congratulate ourselves for making it, yet again, to the finish line of this roller coaster life we are all riding in this year. And before this year actually goes to an end, the beach bum inside me wanted to take one last trip to seal 2017 the best way possible. And as much as I love winter season outside the country, truth be told that it’s always summer in my heart.
Japan | Kawaguchiko
I crave food, but I also crave space and sometimes we just really need to go off on our own. My travel this time is a whole lot different from my previous ones because I am not just flying out to a local destination, but I am actually beginning my journey in pursuing solo travel and I am going to set it off with Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun.
