It was another sweltering day in Batanes and I know I may sound weird, but that was just the way we were hoping it to be! Weather is a big factor that you need to consider when planning a trip to the islands of Batanes, especially when some are only reachable by boat. We originally planned our Day 2 for South Batan tour, but we were advised to take the Sabtang instead so we can take advantage of the good weather.
Batanes – North Batan
You were a dream. Then a reality. Now a memory. It’s already been 3 long months, but I’m still going through all the photos I took when in Batanes. It’s difficult to put into words how I feel about this beautiful island in the Philippines that is also the northernmost and smallest province in the country. I can finally relate to all the stories people are telling after visiting the “Home of the Winds.”
Tokyo, Japan
While a lot of countries all over the world are planning and maybe still adapting with technology, Japan just had it all figured out. They are way ahead and they are the exact definition of the “FUTURE.” I maybe exaggerating but, I was there, I saw it, I experienced it firsthand. It amazes me to think what else in this world of technology could they be cooking up, Artificial Intelligence perhaps? But seriously, who knows what’s next?
Japan | Kawaguchiko
I crave food, but I also crave space and sometimes we just really need to go off on our own. My travel this time is a whole lot different from my previous ones because I am not just flying out to a local destination, but I am actually beginning my journey in pursuing solo travel and I am going to set it off with Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun.
Malangaan Cave and Spring
It already became a habit of mine to plan my weekends with activities that usually require long drive, picturesque views, unlimited snacks, fun lot and loads of laughter. My friends, both existential and non-existential, know me as an outdoorsy type of person who loves to be out and about.
