Amsterdam, Netherlands

I am so nostalgic every time I think of you. I know that you aren’t just a dream anymore, but I cannot seem to wake up from whatever state I am in right now, and I feel like am stuck in a loop of good memories — AND IT’S TOTALLY OKAY. I’m still over the moon, and I will be forever grateful for this very rare opportunity to see you in person. I used to read blog posts and articles about you, see photos of you holding vibrant Tulips that are full of life, and watch you walk alongside the other statuesque individuals, but this time it’s me. Batanes – South Batan

Batanes gave me nothing but pure bliss. I was uninterrupted. Life felt very easy. I never looked forward to anything at the end of the day, except for sumptuous dinner. Batanes – North Batan

You were a dream. Then a reality. Now a memory. It’s already been 3 long months, but I’m still going through all the photos I took when in Batanes. It’s difficult to put into words how I feel about this beautiful island in the Philippines that is also the northernmost and smallest province in the country. I can finally relate to all the stories people are telling after visiting the “Home of the Winds.”

Boracay

I am one of the lucky few who witnessed Boracay’s inexplicably beautiful sunset for the last time before the beach went under rehabilitation for 6 months. It was my third time and I was as excited as a normal person who is about to embark on a new journey. Boracay holds a special place in my heart simply because it’s one of the many places I first visited and probably one of the reasons why I love being under the heat of the sun and hearing the sound of waves. I can say that I’m also one of the lucky people who firsthand experienced the beautiful island back when it wasn’t spoilt and crowded.
